No one has more influence on your child than you. It is our hope that we can partner with you and be your biggest fan, your strongest supporter, and your trusted guide as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus.
One of the ways we love to do this is through Family Dedication. Family Dedication is a time to celebrate and thank God for your child, along with a time for parents to make a commitment to put God first in their home and to trust Him as the source of direction in their parenting.
Family Dedication is not infant baptism. We believe that a child must be old enough to understand what it means to put their faith in Jesus before they can be baptized. Rather, this event is an opportunity for you as a parent to publicly declare that you want to raise your child to develop their own relationship with Jesus.
Family Dedication is designed for families at the beginning of their 7000days journey. Our primary focus is on children from birth to 3 years. However, we understand there may be reasons families with older preschoolers would want to participate and consider each family on an individual basis. School-age children are generally capable of making personal spiritual decisions for Christ. We offer Jumpstart, where parents and kids learn what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus. It is designed to help parents and their children begin talking about faith, and it is also the first step in our baptism process for kids in Kindergarten–5th grades.
3-STEP FAMILY DEDICATION PROCESS
The parent orientation is brief (approximately 40 minutes), but very important. Here, you will get details about the upcoming Family Dedication Celebration, but more importantly, you will get some tips and tools to help you focus on what matters most through the parenting journey ahead. Register below to sign up for a Sunday morning orientation. At least one parent is required to attend. If you cannot attend, contact your campus Director to make other arrangements.
Complete the homework, register for the celebration, and invite your family and friends to the Family Dedication Celebration.
The Grand Finale! Actually, it’s really just the beginning. This hour-long event is designed to bring together a small group of your closest family and friends who will commit to pray and support you.
