We’re very excited to have camp at The Country Place in Moscow, TN.

DOES MY FAMILY HAVE TO ATTEND HIGHPOINT?
No! Children who complete 3rd, 4th, or 5th grade in May 2018 are eligible to attend.

IF MY CHILD INVITES A FRIEND, WILL THEY BE TOGETHER?
Yes, provided a group that wants to be together is no more than 4-5 kids of the same gender and everyone signs up before May 1. Once cabin assignments are made, we cannot guarantee they’ll be together. Invite your friends and tell them to register early.

WHAT ABOUT TRANSPORTATION?
We’re providing charter buses to camp Tuesday morning, June 20. Parents will pick up their children at The Country Place on Friday afternoon, June 23. Exact times and instructions for drop-off and pick-up will be communicated closer to camp.

HOW MUCH DOES CAMP SUMMIT COST?

$275 through March 10
$299 after March 10
$50 deposit required for all registrations will be applied to the total cost. Balance due May 15.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE COST OF CAMP?
Included in the cost is transportation to camp, lodging, meals, activities, crafts, camp photo, and a camp t-shirt. Kids may bring $5-$10 to purchase afternoon snacks.

ARE FUNDRAISING AND SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE?
No, but please let us know if you'd like to set up monthly payments. We’ll be glad to work with you. We set the cost of camp to make it affordable for families, especially those that sign up early.

WHO IS IN CHARGE AT CAMP SUMMIT?
Highpoint Kids Staff from all three Highpoint campuses lead Camp Summit, along with a great group of volunteers who are actively involved at Highpoint Church and serve in Highpoint Kids. Everyone is screened with an interview and background check and has received specialized camp training. If you’re not familiar with Highpoint Kids, check out our website and please visit us any Sunday morning!

IS CAMP SUMMIT A SAFE ENVIRONMENT FOR MY CHILD?
Absolutely! Country Place is a secure campus that has excellent management, and safety is always a priority for Highpoint Kids. Our camp director has 25 years of experience leading summer camp for kids, and many of our volunteer staff have worked at camps. Our camp nurses are RNs with 18 years experience working at church camp.

IS THERE A HEALTH FORM/CAMP PHYSICAL REQUIRED?
Parents will complete a health form before camp. We do not require a camp physical, doctor’s signature, or complete shot record. However, we will need to know the date of your child’s last tetanus shot and whether your child’s immunizations are current, and we reserve the right to request additional information about your child if there are any concerns about his/her ability to function age-appropriately at camp due to health or other reasons.

WILL PARENTS HAVE COMMUNICATION WITH THEIR CHILDREN DURING CAMP?
Not directly. It’s only four days, and we promise to take very good care of your kids! If they become sick, we will contact you. If they become homesick, we’ll help them get “un-homesick” by keeping them busy having fun and making friends and memories.
