What is membership?
Membership at Highpoint Church is a commitment to fulfill the
Vision & Values of being a perfect place for imperfect people...making disciples by creating environments to Worship, Connect, Equip and Serve.
What are the specifics of making a commitment to membership?
The first commitment you must make In order to join Highpoint Church is a commitment to be a Christ-follower. A Christ-follower
is someone who turns from their sin and places their faith in Jesus Christ
as their Lord and Savior.
The second commitment you make is to pursue the
Vision & Values
of Highpoint Church. It is expected that members of Highpoint Church
will be involved in the entire Roadmap of Worship, Connect, Equip and
Serve.
Worship-
Committed to be a regular attender in a Sunday Worship Service
Connect-
Committed to be involved in a
Connection Group or Small Group at Highpoint
Equip-
Committed to attend
Equipping Classes as needed in your spiritual development
Serve-
Committed to take the S.H.A.P.E. assessment profile and find an area to serve that fits your giftedness inside the church and in local and global missions.
How do I make a commitment to membership at Highpoint Church?
To become a member at Highpoint
Church, you will need to fill out a membership covenant. There are several
opportunities available for you to sign a membership covenant.
Pastor Dinner
Pastor
Dinner is an opportunity for you to meet others who are new to
Highpoint and have dinner with many of the HP staff. You will
hear the vision and values of Highpoint Church and have the opportunity
to ask any questions. If you would like to join Highpoint
Church at the Pastor Dinner, a membership covenant will be available
there. Our next Pastor Dinner will be on September 14 at 5:30
pm at Briarcrest Christian School. Childcare will not be provided, but childcare reimbursement is available. If you would like to register for
the next Pastor Dinner, please fill out the registration form below and
select "Pastor Dinner".
Roadmap Class
We also offer a Roadmap Class continually
throughout the year where you can learn the details of worship,
connect, equip and serve for 4 weeks. You can jump into this class at
any time. This class is a great way to connect with others and learn
about the vision and values of Highpoint at the same time. Upon
completion, you will have the opportunity to join Highpoint.

What denomination is Highpoint Church?
Highpoint
Church is non-denominational. We have chosen to be non-denominational
in order to be available to many types of people. We know that
denominational stereotypes unintentionally create barriers for some
people when choosing a church. We believe that non-denominational is
the path of least resistance in order to build a church of people who
follow Jesus as their Savior and allow the Bible to have authority in
their lives.
What does Highpoint Church believe about baptism?
Highpoint
Church believes that baptism is a public sign of
identification with the message and mission of Jesus Christ. It is an
outward sign of the life change that has already begun in the life of a
believer after they have entered into new life with Christ. To read

Highpoint
Church believes communion is a time to remember the past in order to
live for the future. Highpoint Church celebrates communion six to
eight times a year in our Sunday worship services because we desire for
each time to be special and significant in your spiritual journey. For

What are Highpoint's plans regarding land and facilities in the future?
Highpoint
has a long range planning team made up of committed church members who
meet with a goal and objective to have Highpoint in the first phase of
a facility in 2012.
