Events for Merge
What's Happening in 7th and 8th Grade
Merge meets each Sunday from 10:45AM to 12:00PM in Briarcrest room 212. All 7th and 8th grade students are invited to join us for a time of hanging out, worship, interesting Bible teaching and discussion. Plus food and fun!
March 7th
Students will be headed to the FedEx Forum
for the WinterJam 2010 concert. Top Christian artists including Third
Day, Newsboys, and Tenth Avenue North will be leading the night in
praise and worship. We invite all 7th-12th grade students and families
to attend this event with us. We will meet in the Briarcrest Parking
Lot at 4pm. Tickets are $10 at the door.
March 19th
Merge students will be having an overnight event on March 19th from 7pm to 10am. The guys will be at the Stack's (5002 Flamingo, Memphis, TN) for a night of video games, junk food, and other manly activities. Girls
will be spending the night at the Brown's (7204 Prestwick Cove, Southaven, MS) with an equally entertaining evening! Hope you can make it!
March 24th
We will be returning to the Memphis Union Mission for a
Student/Family Serve Night. As usual, this will continue the fourth
Wednesday of every month. We are looking forward to serving food, love
and the gospel to the homeless population of Memphis. This
is a great opportunity for students and their parents to serve together
the less fortunate of their very own city. Meet at the Union Mission
at 383 Poplar Avenue (just east of Danny Thomas on Poplar). We serve
food at 5pm and host a worship service beginning at 6pm.
