HIGHPOINT SERVE TEAMS
FAMILY MINISTRY
Servants within the Family Ministry have the incredible privilege of
being able to watch children grow in their relationship with Christ from
crib to college. The three different branches of the Family Ministry
are HP Kids (birth through 6th), HP Students (7th through 12th) and the
CORE College ministry.
HP KIDS provides an exciting environment
for kids to learn about Christ every week. Serving in HP Kids is a
wonderful way to minister to families at Highpoint. HP Kids servants can
choose to serve every week or every other week at one of the following
times: Sunday 9:00 am, Sunday 10:45 am, or Wednesday 6:30 PM. There is
also a Substitute Role for those who can serve once a month. Small
Group and Large Group roles are available in any age group from two
years old through 6th grade. Small Group Roles in HP KIDS include Small Group Leader, Substitute Teacher, and Special Needs Connector. Large Group Roles (Kid City) in HPKids include Host, Storyteller, Worship Team, and Tech Team. There are Leadership, Hospitality, and Security roles
available in HP Kids as well.
Servants in HPStudents and CORE get to be a part of changing
the lives of the next generation. Servant Roles in these ministries include Hospitality Team, Male & Female Connectors, Special Needs Connector, Teacher, Host, Tech Team, Set-Up/Break-Down, Discipleship Group Leaders, and the Food Team.
GUEST & PARTNER SERVICES
Guest & Partner Services teams have the incredible privilege of welcoming each guest into our Highpoint family with a sincere smile, and a heart of service. Members of these teams greet, inform, and serve every person who comes through our doors, and create an atmosphere of warmth and welcome where people can take their next steps toward Christ. Guest & Member Services Servant roles include Guest Central Connector, Host Team, Partnership Coach, Info Center, Coffee Bar, Prep Team, Parking Team, Usher, Security Team, Medical Team & Contribution Auditor.
CARE
Care Team members have the privilege of being able to care
for those in the Highpoint family who are experiencing life change
(highs and lows) and times of struggle in their journey. At Highpoint
we know that LOVE WORKS, and the Care Teams are on the front line of
being the hands and feet of Christ to those in need. Servant Roles in CARE include Hospital Visitation Team, Single Parent Care Team, Highpoint Angels for 40+ Ladies, Prayer Team, New Mom Care Team, Office Volunteers, Response Team, Food Team, and Life Coach.
PRODUCTION
The Production Team is charged with the
responsibility of fusing the message (the love of God), and the media
(music, lighting, video, etc.), to form an authentic and dynamic worship
environment that encourages people into a growing relationship with
Jesus Christ. Each individual and each application is designed to work
together to create one environment. Different interests and different
gifts move the team in one direction toward one goal: growth in
Christ. Servants Roles in production include Producer, Front of House Engineer, FOH Engineer Assistant, Stage Manager, Lighting Manager, Worship Team, Baptism Coordinator, Video Team (ProPresenter, Switcher, Camera Operator), Set-Up/Break-Down, and the Food Team.
GLOBAL & LOCAL MISSIONS
The mission of Highpoint Church is LOVE GOD, LOVE PEOPLE, and MAKE DISCIPLES. Within the ministries of Global and Local Missions this is clearly seen and felt. From working with inner city kids at Overton High School and the homeless of Memphis at the Union Mission, to traveling to the other side of the globe to be the hands and feet of Christ to others in India, Peru, Kenya and the Bahamas, there are many opportunities to be involved in Missions at Highpoint Church. SUNDAY & WEDNESDAY CLASS LEADERSHIP TEAMS
A variety of classes are available at Highpoint Church which help people to grow together spiritually and relationally. From our Celebrate Recovery program to the classes held every Sunday morning, there are classes available for every stage and age of life, the majority of which are led and taught by servants within the church. Servant roles within the Sunday and Wednesday classes include Class Teacher, Class Co-Teacher, and Class Support (Set-up/Break-Down, Host, etc). Classes typically available through the calendar year at Highpoint Church are M28, Celebrate Recovery, Starting Point, Divorce Care, Adult Sunday Classes, Financial Peace University (FPU) and HPSingles (HPS).
CONNECT EVENTS
Servants on the
Connect Events Team partner with other servants to create, plan, and
execute the different churchwide annual events scheduled at Highpoint
throughout the year. Servants on this team have a heart for planning
and executing events, and seeing an event through the eyes of the event
attendees. Annual events held at Highpoint
Church include the Single mom's Spa Night, Servant's Choice Awards, Love Shack Marrieds' Events, Men's Nights, LHP Anniversary Picnic, HPSingles Events, and BEYOND Ladies' Connect Events. Connect Event Team
Servant Roles include the Leadership Team, Decorating Team, Registration Team, and Food Team.
BEYOND WOMEN’S MINISTRY
Christian women in the 21st Century
are called to fulfill many roles in their homes, careers, and
relationships. No one needs more to do, but almost every woman needs the
encouragement of a few more trusted friends to help them to press on
through the trials of life. At Highpoint, we come alongside women and
provide opportunities to learn God’s word and to build relationships
with other women who can inspire one another on the journey. Through
weekly morning and evening Bible studies and connection events
throughout the year, the Beyond Women’s Ministry exists to help women
understand and apply God’s truth in an environment where Christian women
can develop meaningful friendships. Be a part of the team that serves
the women of Highpoint Church. From Bible studies to special events,
there is a place where every woman can serve. The
Beyond Women’s Ministry provides Bible studies on a semester system.
Each semester women meet on Wednesday mornings and evenings to be
challenged by God’s truths and to discuss how to apply the truths to
their lives. Semesters generally
run 10 weeks and start in January and August. Servant Roles within the BEYOND Women's Ministry include Bible Study Facilitator, Bible Study Set-Up/Break-Down Coordinator, Bible Study Apprentice, and Bible Study Registration.

At this class we will walk through your past experiences, your passions, your calling in prayer, and your Spiritual Gifts, and will help guide you in finding the servant role for which you have been designed.
